Free entry (no cover charge) for AJM members at Dizzy’s Jazz Club gigs this week:

  1. Thursday, 24th June – Trumpet. Trumpet are a 5 piece Melbourne jazz band, led by vocalist David Ruiz, playing styles of jazz music from bebop to bossa nova and beyond. Trumpet also delve into other styles including blues, funk and soul.
  2. Friday, 24th June – Sarah Maclaine with Roger Clark Quartet. Singer/songwriter Sarah Maclaine constantly delights audiences with her rich, velvety voice, it’s beautiful tone and fantastic vocal range. Backed by Roger Clark Quartet.
  3. Saturday, 25th June – The Etta James Experience with May Johnston. May Johnston presents The Etta James Experience; an up close and personal tribute show to the late gospel prodigy.
  4. Tuesday, 28th June – Richmond Music Academy. Join Richmond Music Academy for their monthly open mic, showcasing the talent that is produced by the academy.
  5. Wednesday, 29th June – Dizzy’s Big Band. Dizzy’s outstanding 18-piece Big Band perform at Dizzy’s, playing traditional arrangements from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Count Basie and Duke Ellington through to modern masters such as Gordon Goodwin and Tom Harrell.
