Our Jazz Book Collection

The Australian Jazz Museum Library was established in 1996 to provide staff, students, and the general public with books, magazines, periodicals and research materials about Australian and International Jazz. It is now a recognised research centre for advanced study and is dedicated to the understanding and appreciation of Australia’s rich jazz history from the 1920s to the present day.

The library, located at the Australian Jazz Museum, is open to all interested readers, without appointment or charge, Tuesday and Friday, from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.  It is closed on Victorian public holidays.  Staff welcome inquiries and will respond in as timely a manner as possible.
