Tonight at Dizzy’s Jazz Club: The talented Daina Jowsey performs with the Roger Clark Quartet

At only age 7 and 11, Daina Jowsey took part in piano and vocal lessons before eventually beginning a singing career with Four Part Invention, a jazz quartet who performed with the Australian Showband. The talented vocalist has toured across Australia with several leading cabaret artists, having performed at various jazz festivals, including Paynesville, Monbulk, The Grampian’s, Inverloch, Montsalvat and Wangaratta.

Known for putting on a great show, Daina has performed regularly on Bert Newton’s Good Morning Australia. She has also collaborated with The Australian Pops Orchestra, having performed with them in Melbourne and at the Sydney Opera House.

Tonight she joins the Roger Clark Quartet, featuring saxophonist, Roger Clark; renowned pianist, Rory Clark and San Fransisco’s Page Smith on bass.
