Prepare to be astounded and taken on a soulful journey from Smooth & Swing Jazz to Chicago Blues and the hot sounds of Latin, funk and R&B. Black Pearl, a vibrant outfit fronted by Christine Manetta and her powerful contralto voice, will be drawing inspiration from the Great Ladies of Blues & Jazz of the 1920s as well as greats from the 1960s such as Bessie Smith, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Etta James, Rosemary Clooney, Peggy Lee & Aretha Franklin.

Christine is joined by guitarist, Dusan Dosan; electric base guitarist, Antonius Tobing; and drummer/percussionist, Bruce Maddigan – all of which are international and accomplished musicians
