Georgia Lee was born in 1921 rising to be an outstanding Jazz and Blues performer, actress and advocate for first Australians. She sang with several notable Australia jazz bands, spent time in Sri Lanka and several years in Britain. Georgia was Australia’s premier female vocalist, the Queen of Jazz, singing on TV, radio and the stage. In London she sang with the famous Geraldo’s Orchestra.
