Hue Blanes has concreted his position in Australian jazz both as a composer and vocalist with his distinct approach to playing the piano. Moving audiences with his unique interpretations of standards and striking lyricism in his original songs, Hue seems to be able to keep one foot in the past one in the future simultaneously. With a staggeringly beautiful limitless voice, Hue Blanes will be joined by bassist Ben Hanlon, trombonist James Macaulay and drummer Danny Farrugia for an evening of his favourite jazz songs and a few of his originals.
