Jan Kuplis, Tasmanian biographer of jazz man Ian Pearce (1921–2012), managed to unearth a large number of piano solos by Ian who originally played trumpet and trombone with the Barrelhouse Jazz Band. Ian later switched to piano and became a fine jazz pianist. We have been able to issue a double-CD of his solo piano performances since 1972.
