Jonathan Skovron is a Melbourne-based guitarist/composer who has worked extensively as a performing and recording musician in various guises and genres. In his first original jazz project, Skovron takes a relatively traditional approach to the guitar trio, but infuses his own unique compositional style to create a fresh language and feel.

Joined by Jonathan Zion on bass and Haydn Meggitt on drums, Skovron will play an array of original compositions and jazz standards in a style blended from a range of influences including Kurt Rosenwinkel, Peter Bernstein, Pat Metheny, Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans.
