Free entry (no cover charge) for AJM members at Dizzy’s Jazz Club gigs this week:

1. Thursday, 3rd March – Trumpet. Trumpet are a 5 piece Melbourne jazz band, led by vocalist David Ruiz, playing styles of jazz music from bebop to bossa nova and beyond. Trumpet also delve into other styles including blues, funk and soul.
2. Friday, 4th March – The Glass Moon. The Glass Moon is comprised of highly accomplished professional musicians that offer a vast repertoire of tastefully re-imagined classics mixed in with the band’s memorable originals.
3. Saturday, 5th March – Sarah Maclaine with Roger Clark Quartet. Singer/songwriter Sarah Maclaine constantly delights audiences with her rich, velvety voice, it’s beautiful tone and fantastic vocal range. Backed by Roger Clark Quartet.
4. Tuesday, 8th March – Amber Ferraro & Lillian Albazi Quartet. Amber Ferraro on vocals alongside the Lillian Albazi Quartet.
5. Wednesday, 9th March – Dizzy’s Big Band. Dizzy’s outstanding 18-piece Big Band perform at Dizzy’s, playing traditional arrangements from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Count Basie and Duke Ellington through to modern masters such as Gordon Goodwin and Tom Harrell.
