Free entry (no cover charge) for AJM members at Dizzy’s Jazz Club gigs this week:

1. Saturday, 3rd September – Daina Jowsey with Rory Clark Trio. Daina commenced piano and vocal lessons at age 7 and 11 respectively and five years later began her singing career with Four Part Invention, a jazz quartet who performed with the Australian Showband. Performing with renowned pianist Rory Clark and his trio.
2. Tuesday, 6th September – Monash Big Band. The Monash Jazz Orchestra is the society’s classy, jazzy Stage Band! MoJO is fast developing a name for itself as one of the best big bands on the university campus.
3. Wednesday, 7th September – Dizzy’s Big Band. Dizzy’s outstanding 18-piece Big Band perform at Dizzy’s, playing traditional arrangements from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Count Basie and Duke Ellington through to modern masters such as Gordon Goodwin and Tom Harrell.
